OUR SERVICES
GLOBAL SERVICES
Drilling operations were carried out in the waters of the Russian Federation, West and North Africa, in rivers, seas and oceans, with the Russian-made URB 2a-2i drilling rig. The jack-up barge is used to drill wells up to 200m deep.
The jack-up barge rises from waters to a storm-safe height and has been tested in the Black Sea.
It allows operating in freezing temperatures up to -20 Celsius which has been tested in the Barents Sea.
In addition, jack up barge allows working in hot climate zones with temperatures reaching up to +40 Celsius, and has been tested in Egypt (Mediterranean Sea) and Guinea (Atlantic Ocean).
INSTALLATION TRAINING
Training in installation, disassembly and management of hydraulic systems of the platform is available in the Russian Federation, St. Petersburg.
Training includes: operation of hydraulic systems of back-end piles, operation of hydraulic anchor winches, spreading of anchors with the use of a tug, operating hydraulic thrusters.
If the platform is equipped with an URB 2A-2i drilling rig, operation training is provided. The weight of the jack-up barge depends on configuration, with a minimum weight of 21 tons and a maximum of 29 tons in case the equipment includes drilling rig URB-2a-2i.
TRANSPORTATION OF EQUIPMENT
Transportation of the jack-up barge is in standard international dimensions. Depending on the equipment, it consists of 2-3 tractors with standard trail vehicles transported on public roads.
INSTALLATION OF THE PLATFORM
The platform is transferred directly from the trailer to the water surface, with a crane with lifting capacity of 25 tons.
If it is impossible to use a tractor with a trailer, the jack-up barge is installed on land, after that it is pulled by tugs over logs into the sea. Thanks to the lifting mechanism of the platform, it is not difficult to put logs under it.
Drilling and relocation to the wells of the platform is possible only at a wave of up to 1m high. With a larger wave, the platform is towed to the nearest sheltered location.
